An Ode to my Childhood Home

For my Design Studio 1 final, we were assigned a heritage project in which we created a creative journal filled with research, mood boards, sketches, and materiality swatches based on a topic related to our own heritage or a personal interest. My project focuses on the furniture style in my childhood home and how it stayed consistent in the 20 years I lived there. I researched the Mid-Century Modern furniture style and then created swatches inspired by these pieces of furniture. I brought this all together into eight final looks incorporating the swatches and color story.
