Integrative studio final

For my integrative fashion studio, my group and I created three neckwear pieces that directed the head unnaturally or uncomfortably, connecting to the historical research of how society and cultures used the neck as a form of protest and resistance. My piece was constructed to force the head down.

My piece is pictured at the top, forcing the head down. The middle row is by Iyanu Oluwafemi, pushing the head up. Lastly, the bottom row is by Pema Khampa, tilting the head to the side.
